The thorax clinic Heidelberg is one of Europe’s oldest and biggest lung specialist clinics with a history of over 100 years and 310 hospital beds. As a clinic of maximal medical care it has been certified as a lung cancer center by the German cancer society (DKG).

 

RESEARCH CENTER

As a member of the national center for tumor diseases Heidelberg (NCT) we work closely with the German cancer research center (DKFZ). As a clinic of the university clinical center the thorax clinic-Heidelberg treats diseases in the lung and the chest.
